We are excited to give our 2025 Hedland riders the chance to attend training with multiple times Australian Champion and all round good bloke, Karl Mustchin. Karl is WA's State Development Squad coach and Australia's National Development Squad talent scout! Karl will have the AMAZING TJ Rikihana-Gray as his demo rider/ assistant coach to help him out and inspire your riders!  This link is for April 26th and 27th. Inclusive of 2 x 1.5hr, small group sessions. Karl and TJ will inspire, push and provide personalised technical feedback. These sessions will be held throughout the season and build on eachother. You will see the difference in your rider's skills and times. They traditionally sell out quite quickly, so book in if you're keen for your rider to gain confidence, skills and speed. Riders will be grouped by best fit once places are sold. Fruit and SLUSHIES! will be served after the session. If there are lots of little or new sprockets, we might do a one hour session with bike cleaning and maintenence afterwards to make things more manageable for the little ones.

FINMEC Final Fun Day! Hedland BMX is excited to have Daniel Sprague return to coach in the Pilbara! Daniel was recently inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame, yet another West Australian superstar who emerged in the early 1980's. Daniel was a dominant junior winning 6 National Number one titles and stamping his mark on the world with no less than 11 finals appearances at World Championships - twice becoming World Champion. By the time he was a teenager, Daniel had become a qualified coach - a role he continues to this day training and mentoring the next generation of Australian BMX superstars. As a Pro in the mid 90's he would snap up multiple A and AA Pro wins on the USA circuit, appearing in major publications such as BMX Plus and BMX Action. Daniel has left a lasting legacy on the sport of BMX, inspiring many young athletes to follow in his footsteps.
